I know we would like to beat up human traffickers but aren’t allowed to. What we can do is live vicariously through Jason Statham and watch him take revenge on human traffickers in the movie A Working Man. Showing this weekend (April 11-13) Friday – Sunday at 8:00PM each night. Levon Cade left behind a decorated military career in the black ops to live a simple life working construction. But when his boss’s daughter, who is like family to him, is taken by human traffickers, his search to bring her home uncovers a world of corruption far greater than he ever could have imagined.
This is one of those action movies that critics don’t seem to like, but audiences are loving it with an 88% positive rating on RottenTomatoes. One reviewer said this, “Statham stoically and reliably delivers high-octane action in A Working Man, a bang bang shoot’ em up that pairs perfectly with hot, buttery popcorn.” What goes better with Falkon Theatre popcorn than a good old fashioned action movie!
