This weekend we are showing Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One (which tells me there will probably be a part two) starring Tom Cruise. July 28-30 with all show times being at 8:00PM.
You don’t want to miss seeing Tom jump a motorbike off a cliff. It’s a big deal… It’s even on the poster. If you don’t know already Tom Cruise does his own stunts. The first Mission Impossible came out in 1996. How has Tom Cruise not aged? He must be an alien… I remember an extra on the original DVD where Ben Stiller is pretending to be Tom Cruise’s stunt double. If you have never seen it, do yourself a favor and watch it now. Then come back and finish reading my write-up. Go ahead… I’ll wait…
You are back? Good. In Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, Ethan Hunt and his IMF team embark on their most dangerous mission yet. (isn’t it always?)
Both critics and audiences have given this Mission Impossible over 94% positive reviews. One critic said, “Cruise commands this exhilarating espionage thriller in full force. Its colossal action sequences and stunts are breathtaking, while its debate around the autonomy of machines is timely.”
Rating: PG-13 (Intense Sequences of Violence | Action | Some Language | Suggestive Material)
Runtime: 2h 43m
I usually post the trailer here, but it’s Mission Impossible… There have been so many that they’ve stopped counting and started back at 1 apparently. You know what you are going to get when you come see it. Action intertwined with a cool story and amazing stunts, so come watch it. The visuals will be amazing and I’ll make sure the sound blows you away.
