his weekend we have the next installment in the Marvel universe, Antman and the Wasp: Quantamania.
Friday and Saturday at 8:00PM and we will once again try a 2:00PM show on Sunday. (So far we have had good feedback about the Sunday matinee, so we will try it again.)
I grew up as a big fan of Marvel comic books. Every weekend part of my allowance often went to buying a new comic. (Spiderman and Hulk being my favorites.) Antman wasn’t one I followed back then, but I have to say that I have really enjoyed Paul Rudd as Scott Lang in the movies. Paul Rudd never seems to take himself too seriously. I like his self-deprecating humour. This movie also introduces Kang the Conqueror as the big baddy. He is played by Johnathan Majors who is also the bad guy in Creed III right now. I first saw him in a show called Lovecraft Country and I really like his acting. According to the reviews I have read, he really steals the show.
Synopsis: Super-Hero partners Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp. Together, with Hope’s parents Janet van Dyne and Hank Pym, and Scott’s daughter Cassie Lang, the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought possible.
This movie has an 83% positive audience score.
