It’s going to be a busy weekend in Tisdale this weekend (January 19-21), thank goodness it’s supposed to warm up a little. This weekend Tisdale will be hosting the 2024 Viterra Saskatchewan Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the provincial women’s curling championship for Saskatchewan. If you are here to see the Scotties, or to help out, you might want to take a break and check out a show for the entire family. This weekend (Jan 19-21) at the Falkon Theatre we will be showing Migration by Illumination Studios. (The is the same studio that brought us Super Mario Bros. and Minions) Migration will be showing Friday at 8:00PM, and Saturday and Sunday at 2:00PM. We invite you to take flight into the thrill of the unknown with a funny, feathered family vacation like no other in the action-packed new original comedy, Migration. Where a family of ducks try to convince their overprotective father to go on the vacation of a lifetime.
Starring Elizabeth Banks, Kumail Nanjiani, Keegan-Michael Key and Awkwafina, this all-star cast has garnered an audience score of 88% on RottenTomatoes. With cute characters, a fun, fast-paced story, and plenty of laughs, Migration is a good option for family movie nights.
