Sony has confirmed that Kraven the Hunter will be its final installment in its superhero universe. It is showing this weekend (Jan 17 – 19) at the Falkon Theatre. All showings are at 8:00PM.
This movie has gotten lots of bad press and critics don’t like it, but it has a respectable 74% positive ratings from audiences. The biggest complaints are that there is too much material crammed Into one story and unnecessary changes to the character.
Kraven the Hunter is the action-packed, R-rated, standalone story of how one of Marvel’s most iconic villains came to be. Aaron Taylor-Johnson plays Kraven, a man whose complex relationship with his ruthless gangster father, Nikolai Kravinoff (Russell Crowe), starts him down a path of vengeance with brutal consequences, motivating him to become not only the greatest hunter in the world, but also one of its most feared.
