Set 30 years after the original, Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman return as Sally and Gillian Owens, sisters from a family of witches with incredible powers who also carry a dark curse, where any man who falls in love with them will shortly afterwards die.
Believing they had ended the curse years ago, Sally remarries. When her second husband dies soon thereafter, she becomes distraught and places a spell on her young daughters, making them forget about magic hoping to keep them safe from the curse.
When her daughters return home years later, reuniting for Aunt Jet’s birthday, it becomes clear that her spell was a mistake.
The whole cast of Owens are back, and Sally’s daughters bring two very experienced and capable young actors to the series in Joey King (Moneyball, Bullet Train) & Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones).
